There are some Must See places to visit on Maui,

So don’t just stay in your hotel sitting by the pool, get out and explore a little. It is well worth the effort. You can take a tour, or get in your car and drive yourself. Maui has many beautiful and interesting places to visit that are only a short drive away. Here is a short list of some of the places to visit and see on Maui and nearby:

Central Maui:

Explore Iao Valley

Visit Maui Tropical Plantation

Check out Kanaha Beach

North Shore:

Lunch in Paia Town

See the surfers at Hookipa Beach Park

East Maui:

See the Rainforest in east Maui.

See some Waterfalls.

Road to Hana

Visit Waianapanapa Beach

South Maui:

Go to Makena Big Beach

See a Sunset (every night).

Visit Molokini islet (by Boat)

Upcountry:

Drive to Haleakala Crater

Visit Upcountry Makawao

See the view from upcountry

See a Sunrise (from Haleakala)

Westside:

Watch surfers at Honolua bay

Lanai Island:

Take a day trip to lanai. Go by ferry ride or,

boat trip to visit the neighbor island of Lanai. Great for diving trips too.

Molokai Island:

Molokai island is only 9 miles from west Maui. The best way to see Molokai is by air, take a helicopter over the neighbor island of Molokai to see the world’s tallest and most spectacular sea cliffs.
